While collaborating with the Knoll Workplace Research Library, the project aims to create a sub-branding System for Knoll. Explorations focus on sticking to their brand values and respecting their history while engaging in a new visual identity.
The logo design is inspired by one of the most important design concepts of Knoll— Flexibility and plannability. Their practices
always carry over a clean and modern feeling yet being highly customized according to the clients’ pain points and specific demand. Thus the logo contains a changing 3D form. Designers are allowed to choose whichever form within the system to customize their design. Plus, The moving posters particularly illustrate an essay that shows Knoll’s insights on noise in workplaces and noise reduction strategies. A complete style guide is also created to guide future designs within the system.
