Life of Font questions the traditionally dominant role of type designer, reimagining typefaces as living entities capable of self-evolution. I developed the softwares based on the mathematical model of Cellular Automata. By inputing different rule settings, the letters can grow from its initial form. Six rules along with their generated results are collected into the book that includes output lists and typographic applications.
